These stuff may not be my cup of tea. But retro fans should be thrilled.

The furniture collection from IL Salottoä is a cool throwback to the 1950s when glossy vinyl wowed the world over. Each piece is handmade and comes in juicy, vibrant colors like lime green and baby pink. We also spotted mini-sized wing chairs for kids - proving that stylish seating is not only strictly reserved for the grown-ups!

Takashimaya is currently having a IL Salottoä promotion from 14th August to 31st August 2006 at Basement 1.

Very cute indeed. My daughter would love one of those for her room. She is totally into the retro furniture these days.

Oh man! I am loving the couch and chair up top there! Normally when I collect retro or vintage furniture it’s retro diner tables and retro diner booths reminiscent of the 1940's and 1950's, but I’d like to get my hands on those two piece of retro furniture! Very cool indeed.

Since my son moved away to college I’ve turned his room into a mock 50’s diner complete with Diner Furniture from that era but my wife who also loves the retro look would love to have these pieces of furniture in the front room! She’s talked about turning the living room into a full on 50’s living room complete with our 60 inch plasma TV hanging on the wall. :)
