MORE GREAT STUFF AT MILAN

Here are more great products currently on show at Milan 2007.

Over at Driade, Phillipe Starck's Moore is a lacquered nylon armchair with a swivel seat set on a rectangular base. Relying on simple forms, I think he has just created another instant classic with this chair. On the other hand, his Miss Lacy (below) is a small, 'maximalist' armchair fully cast in stainless steel. The look here is a little more theatrical, but I somehow dig that floral-patterned body. It's beautiful, don't you think so?
Ron Arad created Clover (for Driade also; above), a small monobloc armchair in white polyethylene that is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. And at the newly established Quodes, designer Alfredo Häberli's shelving unit, Pattern (below), must be such a joy to use and look at. But don't just look at it as a bookshelf. I think it doubles as a pretty room divider too.
