A house just don't feel right with too many plain, white-washed walls. It just seem to lack something. So people hang pictures, install wallpapers or stick trendy wall decals onto the walls. But the result may still feel too 'mass-produced'. You could just run into the exact same wallpaper you've recently installed in the living room right at your neighbour's house. Much like bumping into another person wearing an identical shirt as you, it sure isn't one pleasant experience. Though it's not as bad. My God...

The moral of the story is - only by turning yourself into the artist do you have full creative control over what you get. Thus, the Make Up The Wall grafitti art template system designed by Maria Kirk Mikkelsen (recently blogged about at Desire To Inspire) seems like a godsend for those who have a knack for such DIY projects. Using the endless combinations of template pieces available, you decide on the arrangement of the design and simply use crayons or markers to trace out the patterns. So, you can be sure no two houses will end up with the same design.
