I can't remember the last time I actually felt excited walking into a new furniture shop. But that was what happened last Saturday when I visited iwannagohome at Great World City. I have heard a lot about them since they opened their doors a month or two back, but this is the first time I stepped into their store. Frankly, the store seems a little packed to the brim, but the stuff are absolute eye-candies. I suggest you make a trip to one of their shops (the other one is at VivoCity) if you have not yet done so.

Talking about eye candies, I happened to pick up a very good coffee table book China Living this past weekend, and really like what I see inside. It provides a fascinating overview of China's diverse design landscape today, and unveils interesting homes and hospitality projects in exciting cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Hongkong. If you are keen to find out more about the varied lifestyle and design options in China, this book is highly recommended.Stan

Love this book - great find, I remember blogging the space on the cover on one of my first blog posts http://gaileguevara.blogspot.com/search/label/china ... amazing interior - a white on white minimalist interior carefully detailed in execution and cohesive with the whole concept of a tea ceremony ... love love it ... thank you for the reminder!!
take a look at some of the amazing interior photos

I can already tell by the pair of grey chairs that this store looks great.
Hi Gaile, I agree with you. I love the white on white scheme. The Green t House is designed by its owner JinR, and I must say she's got a distinctive design style of her own.
Yes {rnvl}, do pop by this shop if you do come to Singapore for a holiday in the near future! You'll love what you see there, I guarantee.
i learned the hard way that the other outlet of iwannagohome is at tanglin mall not vivocity.
Sorry, anon. I don't know why, but in my head, it keeps saying 'vivo... vivo... vivo'. Thanks for the correction.
