RE-IMAGINING STAIRS

Stairways are almost often overlooked, whether inside or outside the house. But this shouldn't be the case - it's too important a building element to ignore. Besides, a staircase offers so many opportunities for one to put those creative - and imaginative - juices to work.

  16. yes, this is exactly what we should do! Make every stairway unique so that while people are contemplating an 8' (or more) descent, they have to decipher confusing and purposely unique visual cues!
