HOUSE SH - THE 'PREGNANT' HOUSE

Hiroshi Nakamura's House SH was conceived somewhat as a 'new member' of this Japanese family. The 'pregnant' main wall of this two-bedroom house is unconventional in construction, and has formed a cosy nook by which members of the family can sit or lounge. At the same time, the molded wall acts to obscure the real boundaries of the interior, making it feel much larger than it really is.
