COBOGO APARTMENT BY FILIPE RAMOS

At just a little over 600 square feet of floor area, the Cobogo Apartment in Sao Paulo, Brazil was completed gutted out by Filipe Ramos and turned into an open loft. All the interior walls were taken down and the existing concrete beams were purposely left exposed to create a raw, industrial look. The designer also replaced all of the windows and brought in new millwork, while keeping the original parquet hardwood floors.

The main feature of the house has to be the see-through concrete brick wall that also act as a divider between rooms. The bricks are called “cobogo” in Portuguese and are commonly used in Brazilian modernist architecture. Link
